  • Job Description: Manager - DevOps
  • Role Overview:

As the DevOps Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our DevOps team and ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure. You will be responsible for leading the team in implementing and managing DevOps best practices, automating processes, and optimizing our development and deployment pipelines. Additionally, you will be instrumental in configuring and maintaining our physical servers, AWS cloud infrastructure, and dedicated cloud servers.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Design and implement DevOps strategies, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.

Configure and maintain physical servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.

Manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, monitoring, and optimizing resources to meet performance and cost objectives.

Administer and optimize dedicated cloud servers, ensuring high availability and reliability for our applications and services.

Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.

  • Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience (7 years) in a DevOps role, with a focus on managing infrastructure and leading teams.

In-depth knowledge of DevOps principles and best practices, including CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code.

Hands-on experience with configuring and maintaining physical servers, AWS cloud services, and dedicated cloud servers.

Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance requirements in a cloud environment.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of successfully leading and mentoring DevOps teams.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
