S&P Global Market Intelligence

The Team: We are looking for a manager, focusing on Corporate Structure data and Third-Party data Integrations, who will be part of a fast paced and dynamic Reference Data Management team. The leader should have exposure of working closely with data, product and technology teams.

This is a senior role in the Team: it is highly collaborative and focuses on bringing together various stakeholders to form and successfully execute business strategies through customer-centric projects. The successful candidate will work within the context of a cross-functional team aligned between Data Management, Operations Managers, Product and its support functions and Agile development teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of the Corporate Structure data projects (requirements gathering and consultation, groundwork & analysis, sizing, collaboration with Technology and Product teams on implementation)
  • Collaborate with Product, Commercial, Technology and Data stakeholders to ensure the development of a clearly defined data strategy. Collaborate closely with operations teams to set specific quality, timeliness and comprehensiveness goals, as well as associated data policies and procedures. Provide leadership and accountability to the Data Stewards that are part of your team.
  • Innovate and own delivering solutions that will improve customer experience, quality and reduce process cycle time.
  • Develop program vision and timelines, gain buy-in for that vision across senior leadership.
  • Converting raw complex data into easy-to-understand information through data visualization.
  • Analyze and uncover inconsistencies in large amount of data supplied by third-party providers by utilizing SQL knowledge and propose solutions to address them in S&P Global products

What We're Looking For:

Essential Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of work experience including data management in a financial market data intensive environment
  • Experience of delivering complex, large scale programs and projects from initiation through delivery by collaborating with cross-functional teams across all levels
  • Candidates with hands-on experience of projects on data extraction, automation, data science, Safe Agile will be preferred.
  • Proven record to bring drastic transformation in group's performance through AI and RPA automation. Hands-on involved in due-diligence, feasibility and execution of projects.
  • Sound knowledge about backend infrastructure (tables/pipelines/loaders, etc.)
  • Hands on experience in writing and developing SQL Queries (joins, exist/not-exist, group by, having, cast, etc.)
  • Experience in Data Mining, Analysis and Visualization
  • Ability to work collaboratively across segments and cultures
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willing to work evening shifts and flexible hours

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of work experience in a managerial role
  • Project Management/ SAFe Certification
  • Knowledge of BECRS and CompanyRel product offerings.
  • Basic understanding of Python
  • Working knowledge of Visualization Tools (Tableau, Power BI etc.)
