About the Position
The Manager of CSR and Sustainability is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company's CSR and sustainability strategies. This role involves working closely with senior leadership and a variety of stakeholders to promote sustainable practices, enhance social responsibility initiatives, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
Strategy Development:
Develop and implement comprehensive CSR and sustainability strategies that align with the company's mission and business objectives.
Conduct research and analysis to identify sustainability trends, best practices, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with various departments to integrate sustainability initiatives into core business operations.
Project Management:
Plan, execute, and oversee CSR and sustainability projects from inception to completion.
Develop project plans, set objectives, and manage budgets and resources.
Monitor project progress, ensure milestones are met, and evaluate the outcomes and impact of initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including community organizations, NGOs, industry partners, and regulatory bodies.
Represent the company at CSR and sustainability-related events, conferences, and industry forums.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards related to CSR and sustainability.
Develop and implement metrics to measure the impact and effectiveness of CSR and sustainability initiatives.
Prepare and present detailed reports on CSR and sustainability activities to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Stay informed about the latest trends, best practices, and innovations in CSR and sustainability.
Identify and implement new approaches and technologies to enhance the effectiveness and impact of CSR and sustainability programs.
Communication and Training:
Develop and execute communication strategies to promote CSR and sustainability initiatives and engage employees and external stakeholders.
Create educational materials and deliver training programs to enhance understanding and participation in CSR and sustainability activities.
Organizing CSR and sustainability campaigns and events to raise awareness and drive engagement and technical consultation.
Mandatory Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Advanced degree (MBA, MS) in a related field is a plus.
3-5 years of experience in CSR, sustainability, or related fields, with a proven track record of managing successful CSR programs.
Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and measure the impact of CSR initiatives.
Strong strategic planning and project management skills
Analytical skills to measure and report the impact of social initiatives using relevant metrics.
Proficiency in English and Marathi.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CSR reporting tools.
Creativity and innovation in developing CSR solutions.
