Job Description

Deal Origination:

Work with senior bankers across geographies on the analysis and development of transaction ideas for discussion with clients

In-depth analysis of companies / sectors - industry landscaping, benchmarking, financial modelling, pitching

Transaction Execution:

Integral member of the investment banking team and would be involved in the entire deal-making process for private equity and mergers & acquisition transactions

Preparation of pitches and transaction collaterals such as business plans, information memorandums, and term sheets

Handle communications - both internally as well as with clients / third parties (such as other investment banks, law firms, auditors, DD advisors)

Coordinate on due diligence and deal documentation Ideal Candidate:

Educational Qualifications:

MBA / CA

Prior experience of working in Front End investment banking

Proficiency in corporate finance along with prior experience in conducting financial analysis, preparing financial models (such as DCF, LBO, Accretion / Dilution), information memorandums, and trading and transaction comparables

Familiarity with research databases such as Bloomberg, S&P, CapitalIQ, VCCEdge as well as expertise in standard MS tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Understanding of complete corporate finance deal cycle and exposure to transaction documentation will be an added advantage

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work in a team

Ability to multitask and efficiently meet timelines
