Job Description

  1. Monitoring, Auditing and Reporting:
    • Maintain monitoring tools to track compliance with Regulations.
    • Conduct periodic Audits to assess Compliance levels and identify areas for improvements.
    • Make reports for the concerned stakeholders on compliance activities, findings and recommendations.
    • Prepare Quarterly Compliance reports, certificates and presentations for senior management and the board of directors, highlighting key compliance metrics, trends and initiatives.
    • Design informative slides to communicate Compliance performance effectively and facilitate decision-making process.
  2. Co-ordination with SPOCs:
    • Serve as the common coordinator with designated Single Point of Contacts (SPOCs) within each business unit or functional area to provide guidance, support and training on compliance related matters.
  3. Training & Awareness Sessions:
    • Develop and deliver Compliance Training programs for employees at all levels to increase awareness and understanding of Compliance requirements.
  4. Crisis Management and Incident Response:
    • Develop and maintain crisis management and incident response plans to effectively address compliance breaches or violations.
  5. Compliance Framework Implementation:
    • Implement and maintain the robust compliance framework aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  6. Risk-based approach:
    • Implement a risk-based approach to compliance management, identifying key risk areas and prioritizing resources accordingly to mitigate compliance risks effectively.
  7. India and International Compliance:
    • Stay abreast of Indian and International Compliance updates & regulations ensuring alignment with the business.
    • Implementation of the legal updates in the Compliance tools for its monitoring.
  8. Vendor and Third-Party Oversight:
    • Develop procedures for evaluating and monitoring third-party vendors and partners to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
  9. Reporting to Senior Management
    • Periodic updates to senior management on deviations and their impact.

Who are we looking for

Education:

  • LLB/ LLM / Company Secretary

Experience:

  • 6-10 years in Statutory Compliance

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Indian and International regulatory requirements pertaining to specific industries like Consumer Goods / NBFCs / Agricultural products etc.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to identify and assess compliance risks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ready to travel
