The Manager will provide directions and mentorship to our team of specialists who are responsible for maintenance renewals and tracking the status of orders with our vendors and distributors and gathering critical information for our customers regarding delivery of procured goods. Business Operations Manager must have a very strong understanding of how AHEAD functions operationally and be able to work with people across AHEAD. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the person must be comfortable communicating above and below them on the org chart inside and outside of AHEAD. You will be tightly aligned with Business Development, Customer Success, Integration Center and Marketing to make sure our customers experience is consistent across the life of our partnership.
Roles & Responsibilities
- People management including onboarding and process training of team members
- Strong collaboration with process owners and stakeholders
- Maintain good working relationships with our vendor partners and internal customers
- Interact with sales reps, client operations specialist and P&L specialist to answer queries
- Assist team in responding to inquiries from finance using shared reports, SFDC Chatter and emails
- Prepare and present KPI's to management for performance management and introducing process efficiencies
- Collect and analyze data to make recommendations to the team and leadership
- Assist stakeholders with special projects as and when needed
- With scalability in mind, set and execute clear, measurable standards and processes for the team that aligned with organizational goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's and master's degrees in finance & accounts
- 10+ years of experience in similar roles out of which at least 5 years in people management
- Strong people management, analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills enabling effective, clear, and concise communication with team and all levels of management
- Strong organizational skills required to coordinate, manage, and prioritize multiple cross-divisional processes and projects
- Consistently demonstrate the ability to be self-motivated, responsive, customer-focused, and possess strong follow-up skills
- Consistently demonstrate high ethical standards, accountability, and ownership.
- Ability to productively work well both independently on task execution and as part of cohesive team /workgroup.
