We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and negotiating contracts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of business initiatives and achieve organizational goals.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and networking.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients by proactively reaching out to key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Develop and implement effective business development strategies to expand the company's customer base and market presence.
Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify untapped opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to develop customized solutions that meet clients requirements.
Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers to enhance business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Present compelling business proposals and negotiate contracts with potential clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both parties.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of business development initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to the management team.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to drive innovation and identify new growth areas.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase our products/services and establish thought leadership.
Graduate / Msc in Biotechnology (Preferred)
Proven track record of at least 6 years in business development, sales, or a related role.
Strong understanding of business development strategies, market analysis, and sales principles.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities, resulting in revenue growth and market expansion.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex business situations, formulate effective strategies, and drive implementation.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant business tools.
Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
