Role Description
We have partnered with large insurance companies and banca channels. This role of Insurance Business Dev Manager will act as key account manager for multiple insurance providers (agencies, banca, or firms) and work towards conversion of insurance policies sales through ShopSe platform/ShopSe EMI. This role will drive business growth by fostering healthy relationship with insurance companies sales professionals and management, create awareness among the sales agents, motivate them and grow EMI volume. The role involves strategizing, developing, and executing plans to expand insurance offerings within the ShopSe platform. The real sales is done by the insurance companies sales team.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing client / partner specific sales strategy achieve insurance polices sales target through ShopSe platform.
- Establish & strengthen relationship with bank branch managers, agencies & staffs to gain leads. Must have built relationships and communication channels across multiple partners, staffs and across various insurance products.
- Prospecting & meeting walk in customers of the Bank and conducting Quick Need Analysis
- Specific responsibilities include business and market development; market research and planning, strategic direction for acquisition and sales enhancement, promotion, coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Responsible for hunting and farming activities and meeting the business targets of growth and acquisitions.
- Fetching brand offers, negotiations and maintain excellent partner relationships.
- Provide leadership, direction and management of the respective market and category/channel acquisitions.
- Ensure ShopSe acquires prominent brands in India so as to enhance maximum sales volume.
- Build brand pipelines, attractive offers and discounts.
Qualifications
- Prior sales experience as branch manager or agency manager in insurance companies/firms.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong partnerships and growth
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Knowledge of various insurance products
