Job Description:
BluSmart is looking for a dynamic, results oriented Business Development Manager to further its fleet onboarding and expansion programs. This individual will be responsible for driving growth for BluSmart's fleet by identifying, establishing, and managing partnerships with fleet owners, transport operators and leasing companies who would add Electric Vehicles on the BluSmart platform in exchange for attractive returns. The ideal candidate will have a background in automobile financing or commercial vehicle sales, and a proven track record of cultivating relationships and securing partnerships within the target market.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify and prioritize target fleet operators and logistics companies for partnership opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions to meet the specific needs and challenges of fleet operators and logistics companies.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure partnership agreements and drive revenue growth.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new partners, driving coordination across Procurement, Operations, Finance, and other cross functional stakeholders as needed
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the fleet partnership network.
- Explore innovative solutions and technologies to improve fleet partnership operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of work experience in automotive financing and/ or commercial vehicle sales. Past experience in managing/ working with fleets, dealerships, leasing companies is a must.
- Strong understanding of fleet management and logistics operations, including industry challenges, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and develop innovative solutions.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for exceeding targets and delivering exceptional customer value.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
