What You'll Do
The IT Development Specialist focuses upon the development of applications / products in line with the technology roadmap and standards.The IT Development Specialist delivers development of programme logic for new applications / products or analysis and modification of logic in existing applications (activities may also include elements of technical testing). Typically reports to the Senior IT Development Manager of the Head of Technology.
Job Description
- 10+ years of experience in Telco Billing area.
- Knowledge of Voice, Data and Wireless technologies
- Understanding of software design patterns and principles
- Proven ability to work independently; designing, developing, and deploying solutions, and to deliver projects on time with minimal direction.
- Experienced in creating response to RFP's.
- Ability to listen and evaluate all opinions without bias, and contribute to a common culture of excellence.
- Strong communication skills (written, interpersonal, presentation), with the ability to easily and effectively interact and negotiate with business stakeholders
- Strong ability to pick up complex concepts and processes quickly
Must Have
- Technical degree or equivalent.
- Oracle BRM.
- Software engineering background
Skills
- Strong understanding of BRM Architecture, Telecom Industry and working experience of not less than 5 years in Oracle BRM.
- Experience in understanding the requirement and translating that to low level design.
- Working Knowledge of all the BRM modules (Subscription Management, AAA, Real-time and Batch Rating & Discounting, Billing & Invoicing, Payments & Account Receivable, General Ledger, Collections, Integration, Roaming, Interconnect, Online and offline mediation etc.)
- Policy customization using PCM C or PCM Java, writing MTAs.
- Good understanding of BRM Pipeline framework and Pricing & Discounts configurations.
- Good understanding of BRM Billing Care.
- Good communication skills to participate in discussions with business and solution architects and express in an articulate way.
- Good analytical skills with capabilities of critical thinking..
