POSITION SUMMARY
The position is part of the Business Continuity Management team within the Operational Risk Management department and will work directly with Business Units, HR, Facilities, Legal, IT and Compliance departments and will be responsible for the implementation and testing of the Business continuity framework in the organization and play a critical role in crisis management.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate crisis management procedures and business recovery measures. Prepare incident closure report.
Conduct risk assessments annually at location/facility level.
Work with Business Units to conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA), calculate RTOs and compile Business Continuity Plans (BCPs).
Perform business process dependency reconciliations and support inter-department resiliency enhancements.
Identify, assess, and report threats and vulnerabilities. Support risk management efforts.
Conduct BCP tests and exercises Call Tree test, Tabletop exercise and Stress tests.
Collaborate with IT teams in Disaster Recovery Testing and critical IT incident resolutions.
Review and update policy and procedure documents.
Facilitate and support Internal and External Audits.
Assist in developing training materials, job aids and measurable/auditable KPIs.
Facilitate Business continuity steering committee and other senior management meetings.
Perform gap analysis and continual improvement of the BCM program.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
10+ Years of experience with 3+ Years of experience in Disaster Recovery or Business Continuity Management.
Post-Graduation/Graduation degree.
Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as public speaking / presentation skills.
Must be flexible in extended working hours during crisis.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a group.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as able to use Internet.
ISO 22301 or CBCI certification will be an added advantage.
