Responsibilities:
Develop & evaluates the designs for new Caf construction (Interior / exterior) and Caf renovation.
Prepares the project scope, written material description and plan, and a project drawings to be used as the basis for marketing for selection of vendors and other construction & renovation activities.
- Works closely with project team members to support cafe design or renovation activities.
- He/ She must understands the project's plans and specifications completely.
- Actively participates and represents the company in the pre-negotiation, pre-design, and vendor meetings, with selected company registered vendors and the site activities.
- He/ She must able to answers the technical architectural questions.
- Reviews and coordinates with an outsourced suppliers in such matters for any design related concerns.
- Develop repair/revision scope suggestions and cause and origin assessments by using technical expertise, building codes, and an awareness of construction practices.
- Assists in the selection of architectural and project departments to produce plans and specifications for such projects and associated operations, as well as construction site inspection and acceptance.
- Evaluates and explains areas of concern, and assesses paperwork and design drawings.
- In order to handle construction-related concerns and present thorough reports, communicate with clients and work with project team and contractors.
- Able to manage multiple project architectural assignments.
- Knowledge of material selection in relation to building enclosure performance and long-term durability.
- Using architectural software, integrate engineering and architectural elements into a single integrated design.
- On-site inspections of construction activities to ensure adherence to plans is executed as per approved design/plans .
- Assists HOD with construction document preparation if needed.
- Revises drawings as per management decisions.
- Able to provide graphic presentations and builds computer models
- Establishes priorities, plans the work to be done, and creates timeframes for finishing the tasks.
- Supporting projects team for architectural discipline with proposal / BOQ preparation.
- Developing conceptual designs and coordinating with the design team as per direction of the HOD.
- Creating creative designs and working with the projects team under the HOD's supervision.
- Collaborate and provide assistance for any architecture-related needs with the Marketing, Technical, and Service divisions.
- Provides resource forecasts.
- Willing to travel, as needed, on short notice at times.
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree or equivalent.
- Proficiency with REVIT, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office suite preferred
- Knowledge of the principles underlying the regulation of heat, air, and moisture in enclosure systems and materials.
- Strong graphic and presentation skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Maintains effective communication with project team members
