We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Enterprise Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture team
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and direction in the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft Technologies including solutions tailored to meet our business needs
The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the IT industry, with a strong background in M365 architecture and deployment
Experience with M365, VDI and Power Platform is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities
Develop current and future state a rchitecture roadmaps of Microsoft 365 solutions, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, PowerApps, Dataverse and other M365 services. Align and promote enterprise technology (data, infrastructure, applications and security) principles and strategy.
Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise in the adoption and integration of M365 Microsoft technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive M365 Microsoft solutions that align with business objectives.
Conduct assessments and evaluations of existing IT environments to identify opportunities for M365 Microsoft technology adoption and optimization.
Develop migration strategies and roadmaps for transitioning on-premises solutions to the cloud.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to M365 Microsoft and cloud technologies.
Use appropriate design techniques and methodologies to translate project requirements into detailed designs, consistent with platform strategy and road map. Design external system interface architecture that includes appropriate application of techniques and standards. Determine integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, security and business/functional requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; or related work experience.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in the IT industry, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
Proven track record of designing and implementing Microsoft solutions for enterprise clients.
Strong understanding of M365 Microsoft architecture, security, and compliance best practices.
Knowledge of Enterprise-wide architecture and ability to see the big picture and how it affects current and future technologies.
Internal/External consulting experience that spans organizational boundaries and includes influencing technology and business leaders.
Depth of experience in the architecture, design, implementation and support of complex enterprise solutions.
Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to explain highly technical solutions to technical and non-technical teams.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or equivalent are a plus.
Ability to set direction and lead teams in implementing complex architectures.
