Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Salesforce
Manager to join our CIT Salesforce team which oversees and supports the use of our internal Salesforce
org by all areas of the business.
We are looking for an individual with in-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform who can drive full
adoption of platform features and help the team deliver optimal, scalable solutions to position the
business for success. This individual will manage the day-to-day health and performance of the org and
ensure compliance with best practices and governance policies. A successful Salesforce Manager will have
experience leading a team, working with stakeholders, and helping the team deliver on the roadmap.
Essential Functions
Recruit and train a skilled team consisting of Salesforce Admins and QA Specialists
Develop and continuously improve the QA process among all internal Salesforce team members
Oversee and ensure adherence to Salesforce Governance practices and policies
Understand the business needs and help the business identify solutions (package or custom) that
will enhance our business processes, increase efficiency, and promote user adoption
Oversee data and metadata backup process and proactively troubleshoot any errors
Monitor data quality and implement solutions to remediate data issues
Working with other Salesforce leaders, proactively manage system maintenance including
Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer ensuring optimal performance of
Salesforce systems and products
Maintain up to date certifications and knowledge on new Salesforce features
Identify critical areas of improvement, provide recommended solutions, and drive execution of
those solutions
Performs other duties as assigned by immediate manager or management team.

Required Skills & Experience
Education: A bachelor's degree in information systems or computer science preferred
Experience: 7+ years of experience on the Salesforce platform either as Admin, QA or Business Analyst
3+ years in a Salesforce Manager role
Technical / Functional Skills:
Experience in Service Cloud and Sales Cloud required
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce configuration and monitoring tools
Great analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integrations with external systems, e.g. Netsuite.
Certifications and/or Licenses: Salesforce administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification Salesforce Platform App Builder certification
