We create smart, people-centered healthcare to help the patients we serve recover faster and live longer and more vibrantly.Job Description:The Regional Planning Manager, APAC is responsible for carrying out regional demand & deployment planning processes for medical business in the region.This position will be responsible for ensuring timely product and instrument availability and coordinating with Global Planning team and weekly/monthly customer service updates.This position ensures the planning processes remains integrated with business priorities by deploying process excellence tools and techniques, collaboration with various partners and deploying a robust communication strategy.Key Responsibilities:
- The Planner is responsible for carrying out the demand & deployment planning for medical business in APAC region.
- The position is responsible to coordinate with Global Plan for timely product availability/service levels in the countries and communicate availability information on a weekly basis.
- Ensure business continuity by managing the supply disruptions and demand surges by ensuring timely escalation for significant supply disruptions.
- Closely work with Global Plan for timely product availability/service levels in the Markets and lead relevant communications with country partners.
- Carries out inventory deployment from Regional/Global Hub into Market DCs by applying Advance Planning System and other planning tools.
- Maintains correct planning parameters to ensure efficient inventory in Regional Hub & Market DCs, and Engage in relevant projects which has potential impact on product availability, inventory and business continuity.
- Handle the overall inventory levels and inventory health (Reduce slow and obsolete inventory) for the franchise in the region.
- Handle New Product Launches and product life cycle planning to appropriately balance availability and inventory risks, achieve inventory targets.
- Acts as an SME/Key Business user of Advance Planning System/ ERP systems (OMP, SAP) & Reporting Tools. Review and specify Business requirements for system changes in conjunction with System team.
- Enable intelligent process automation and touchless supply chain through digital initiatives. Proficient in Data handling and Analytics.
- The Planner is responsible for analyzing and deriving practical insights to improve Key Performance Indicators and develop and implement corrective action plans.
- I mprove Product availability (OTIF), Reduce Stock outs/Back Orders.
- Optimize Inventory ($ & DOS). Reduce SLOB.
- Review and develop any necessary corrective actions arising from Performance Metrics
- Able to mine data from appropriate systems and able to carry out complex analysis for ad-hoc business requests

- Green Belt six-sigma certification
- APICS Certification
Knowledge:
- 6+ years of relevant supply chain experience
- Experience/Expertise in ERP (preferably SAP), Advance Planning Systems (APO/OMP), Analytical and Automation Tools
- Supply chain experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry
- Inventory management experience
Skills:
- Fundamentals of Supply Chain
- Proficient user of MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI and Python
- Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for planning
- Ability to use advance statistical techniques
