Job Description

Role Purpose: The Manager Analytics Platform and Dashboarding is responsible for providing analytics delivery and insights team a centralized and user-friendly tool for accessing, analyzing, and interpreting data relevant to their responsibilities. The platform and dashboards are designed to streamline decision-making processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive strategic initiatives within an organization.

The role holder is also responsible for leading a team of data analysts to build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards.

Role Details Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Analytics Platform and Dashboarding

Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions to all the 15 countries

Building and maintaining robust analytical data architectures

Designing efficient data pipelines and Ensuring data quality and integrity for all the solutions - CVM, Insights, Assortment, Pricing , Promotion. Forecasting and Innovation

Overseeing data security and compliance

Managing platform budget

Identify opportunities for data acquisition

Communicate with different data stakeholders

Develop and maintain documentation for architecture and data 2 Coordination and Communication

Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, data engineers, and business teams and other key stakeholders as their business partner, to define and develop framework and methodologies to measure and track impact of analytics use-cases

Liaise with the product team and inform and update stakeholders on platform performance, plans, and progress towards new data acquisition

Build relationships and maintain strong partnerships with key personnel to help achieve organisational goals

Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the Retail Analytics Unit Human Capital Responsibilities

Ensure the implementation of the performance management process

Provide mentorship for the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key roles

Identify training needs and coordinate with the HC department to ensure facilitation of training requirements

Oversee the development and implementation of on the job-training

Ensure constant availability of the required competent staff to support the organization in meeting all its responsibilities, plans, and objectives

Functional/Technical Competencies

Data base understanding and Proficiency in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources for analysis and reporting.

SQL, Python, PySpark, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI

Cloud Platform Understadning Azure & GCP Personal Characteristics and Required Background: Minimum Qualifications/education:

Bachelor's Degree in a computer science / engineering / math or related technical discipline

Master's Degree in a similar field is preferred 3 Minimum experience:

7+ years with a focus on Azure architecture, Linux systems administration, and DevOps practices

Proven track record of designing and implementing complex Azure solutions for Linux workloads Skills:

Proficient in several visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.

Expert in various programming languages is a must, such as R/Python/SQL/PySpark etc.

In-depth knowledge of Azure services, Linux systems administration, and DevOps principles.

Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible.

Strong understanding of cloud architecture best practices.

Collaborative, pragmatic and proactive problem solver

Proven ability to see the big picture with attention to details, translate data into meaningful analysis and insights, sound understanding of the analytics ecosystem and value chain from both a business and a technical standpoint

Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

Strong business communication and presentation skills with proven experience managing executive-level communications

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload

Strong English language skills (Speaking, Reading and Writing) with exceptional business writing, Arabic is a plus

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
