Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Sales:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth in the export air cargo sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, establishing relationships with potential clients and partners.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to clients.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring favorable terms for Ryder Shipping Lines Pvt. Ltd.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business expansion.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by the company.
2. Operations Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the export air cargo department, ensuring efficient and smooth processes.
- Coordinate with airlines, ground handling agents, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
- Maintain high standards of service quality and compliance with international regulations.
- Manage and resolve operational challenges effectively.
- Develop and optimize operational procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
3. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of sales and operations professionals.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Ensure the team is well-trained and stays updated with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
4. Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage the department's budget, ensuring alignment with company financial goals.
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures as necessary.
- Analyze financial reports to assess profitability and identify areas for improvement.
5. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Address and resolve client concerns and issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular client reviews to ensure service excellence and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
