Job Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Admission Counsellor to lead a team of screeners in our Abroad Education Consultant Marketplace initiative. The successful candidate will manage the lead screening process, ensure the best-fit education consultants are engaged for each lead, and oversee the entire journey from pre-screening to follow-up, ensuring high conversion rates. This is a middle-management role that requires expertise in international education and consultant partnership management.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Screening Team: Manage and mentor a team of screeners who will evaluate incoming leads based on eligibility and academic preferences.
- Lead Pre-Screening & Counselling: Provide counselling to students and ensure they are matched with the most relevant education consultants based on their academic goals, study destinations, and budget.
- Consultant Coordination: Work closely with partnered education consultants, track lead progress, and ensure they are followed up with diligently to maximize conversions.
- Decision Tree Development: Develop a strategic decision tree to assign leads to the most suitable consultant partners based on the students aspirations, program focus, and geographic preferences.
- Follow-Up Monitoring: Ensure consultant partners follow up on leads effectively and provide the necessary support to convert them into successful admissions.
- Reporting & Analysis: Maintain detailed records of lead progress in the CRM system and provide regular performance reports. Suggest improvements for higher conversion rates.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to optimize lead generation and screening tools for more efficient processes.
Qualifications and Skills:- Minimum 4 years of experience in admissions counseling for international education, particularly for the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia.
- In-depth knowledge of overseas education systems, admission processes, and visa procedures.
- Proven experience in managing teams and processes, including performance mentoring and optimization.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with students and consultant partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and CRM systems for lead management and reporting.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and passionate about helping students achieve their study abroad goals.
