Anchor, Lead, and drive to implement Adani Safety standards, policies and procedures as per corporate guideline at all sites in the project to build a proactive safety culture.
Lead a team of Safety engineers for effective delivery, keeping the functional interest very high with a nonnegotiable approach.
Responsible for planning, reporting, implementing, and monitoring all HSE requirements and compliance of all laws & statutory requirements in association line management.
Carry out internal safety inspections, audit, walk-throughs etc. and follow up for compliance actions withing defined timeline.
Effective Contractor safety Management. Ensuring that General Conditions of Contract (GCC) are made available to contractors prior to bidding though collaboration with Techno commercial team.
Make robust implementation of PTW system, LOTO process, Critical Vulnerability factors (CVF) other High Risk protocols for an accident/ incident free site.
Conduct safety trainings, competency development programs under SAKSHAM program for site team, new hires, engineers, contractors etc. as per the group guideline. Ensure mandatory coverage of e-learning modules assigned to the safety team for competency and knowledge enhancement.
Incident reporting as per group safety protocol to concerned authorities; conduct incident investigations & identify CAPA. Follow up with all the site leads for horizontal deployment of CAPA actions.
Shall carry out inspection to identify various unsafe conditions of work sites/machinery/equipment's as well as unsafe acts on the part of workmen/Supervisor/engineer while carrying out different project related works.
Conduct site safety committee meetings with frequent intervals with all the HODs with actionable points for continuous improvements.
Promote safety through various Promotional programs, Rewards and recognition programs, Safety Campaigns, Visible safety demonstrations, Safety week celebrations and other motivational activities.
Monitor & analyze data, carry out trend analysis, prepare reports (documents, presentations) and report on EHS performance to HOD- Safety and Site Head as per defined frequency.
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical / Civil) from AICTE approved institutes/ recognized universities.
Post Graduate Diploma/ Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety from recognized/ approved institute.
At least 15-18 years of experience in infrastructure, large construction, EPC, Oil & Gas, Civil and Heavy Infra industries etc.
