Responsibilities

Implementation and close-out of the assigned Project area, fulfilling the project objectives in terms of schedule, cost and quality with resource optimization.

Timely completion of feasibility studies and other technical studies related to plant & processes.

Timely resolution of interface issues for the project and ensuring progress.

Ensuring proper dissemination of information and drawings/documents as per requirement.

Implementation of lessons learnt from other projects

Developing the plan for project commissioning and plant performance test.

Enable capability development of employees within the Site / Corporate teams by overseeing implementation of appropriate systems and policies.

Ensure timely goal setting, monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to team members. Building and Developing plant operations team.

Participation in project development from initial stage to ensure feasibility of implementation and risk mitigation.

To Lead all the activities of assigned project area in order to develop and implement the project within schedule, cost and quality

End to end responsibility of the project from concept to execution; close out, commissioning and performance guarantee test of the assigned project area.

Plan, co-ordinate and control the project to ensure its completion in line with project specifications and within time and cost constraints in order to achieve the planned business outcome

Ensure accurate feedback of progress to the concerned functional heads and higher management on exception basis.

Periodically review and ensure compliance with regulatory/statutory norms and Integrated Management System

Determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions, by reviewing MIS.

Drive high productivity of site/ corporate workforce through optimal staffing and manpower scheduling.

Preparation and implementation of development plans for team members.

Developing the training module for the team and its effective implementation

Ensure smooth coordination across all departments by conducting meetings of the concerned teams and resolving interface issues.

Ensure timely closure of any outstanding Non-Compliance Reports (NCRs) as reported by internal/external audits. Proactive relationship management within and across other departments.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech Mechanical Engineering or similar Field

Experiences

B.E./B.Tech Mechanical with experiences of more than 10 yrs in project management and/or operations management.

Exposure to project development specificaly for greenfield or major expansion project

Experience in conceptualisation, development, implementation, Commissioning of mineral benefication,hydrometallurgy

and smelting/ refining processes.

Knowledge about Copper Concentrate and its impact on process, environment and product quality.

Hazard Identification and Risk Mitigation

Environmental Management and ComplianceExcellent Written and Verbal Communication, Presentation skills
