Miko is Looking for:
Manager Accounts
Miko is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager Accounts to lead our accounting and compliance functions. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of taxation, compliance management, and financial processes. This role involves overseeing Accounts Receivables & Accounts Payables, GST, Payroll management, TDS, and Audit, while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
Responsibilities- Accounting Management
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including managing all aspects of Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables.
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and maintain general ledgers.
- Taxation and Compliance
- Manage compliance with GST regulations and filing of returns.
- Ensure proper TDS deductions and timely remittances.
- Act as a point of contact for tax audits and liaise with tax authorities as necessary.
- Payroll Management
- Ensure accurate processing of payroll information, including disbursements, tax withholdings, and reports.
- Stay updated with local employment laws and regulations affecting payroll processes.
- Audit Support
- Prepare financial reports and assist with internal and external audits.
- Implement recommendations from audit findings to enhance financial processes.
- Team Leadership
- Supervise accounting staff and provide guidance on accounting procedures and regulations.
- Foster a collaborative team environment to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on taxation and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with accounting software, particularly Tally.
- Excellent understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements in India.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide leadership to subordinates.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of finance and budget management.
