About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Manager for Accounts & Finance to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with financial policies. This position is ideal for a finance professional with up to 20 years of experience who can drive financial strategy, manage accounting processes, and maintain sound financial practices. The ideal candidate should hold an M.Com or MBA in Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, implementing recommendations to strengthen financial controls.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and accounting standards, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop and monitor KPIs to assess financial performance and drive improvements.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance profitability.
- Support senior management with financial insights and recommendations for business growth.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting professional growth and skill development.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluation within the finance department.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages efficiency and accountability.
- Cash Flow & Risk Management
- Manage cash flow, ensuring liquidity and efficient use of financial resources.
- Assess financial risks, implementing mitigation strategies to safeguard the company's assets.
- Oversee investments, banking relationships, and credit management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: M.Com or MBA in Finance.
- Experience: Up to 20 years in accounting and finance roles, with a strong background in financial management and compliance.
- Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and leadership skills to manage a team and work cross-functionally.
