We are looking for Management Trainees to be a vital part of the finance vertical. You will act as the major point of contact for the department and work alongside the CFO.You should be driven, self-motivated, and highly passionate about working in the Ed-tech space. You'll work closely with a diverse group of people coming from both leading MNCs such as McKinsey, BCG, KPMG, Deloitte, EY, and startups such as Paytm etc. to establish, nurture, and grow business across categories & territories. We are looking for a dynamic and driven Chartered Accountant (CA) fresher from Big 4 accounting firms who has cleared the CA exams in a maximum of two attempts. As a Management Trainee, you will be a part of our finance team, responsible for assisting in financial planning, finance operations, financial analysis, reporting, and compliance. You will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial strategies, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to our mission of empowering students to achieve their academic aspirations abroad.
Responsibilities (will be mix of 2 or 3 responsibilities below based on the right fit) :
Financial Reporting:Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and projections as required by the management and regulatory authorities.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process by providing financial data analysis, identifying trends, and recommending actions to achieve financial targets.
Compliance and Auditing: Support compliance activities by ensuring adherence to accounting standards, regulatory guidelines, and internal policies. Assist during internal and external audits as required.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify key insights and trends, presenting them in a clear and concise manner to aid in decision-making processes.
Treasury Management: Assist in managing cash flow, optimizing working capital, and monitoring foreign exchange transactions.
Taxation: Support tax planning and compliance activities, including filing tax returns and ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information, understand business needs, and support decision-making processes.
Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable: Ensure end to end review and closure of related tasks to ensure smooth finance operations
Requirements
Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) from Big 4 accounting firms.
Attempts: Successfully cleared the CA exams in a maximum of two attempts. May 2023 passout and onwards.
Strong Academic Record: Demonstrated academic excellence throughout the CA program.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey financial information clearly and concisely.
Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities.
Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Integrity: High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Proficiency: Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.
