An Accounts Payable (AP) role involves managing the financial transactions related to a company%27s outstanding liabilities and ensuring timely payments to vendors, suppliers, and other creditors. The responsibilities and tasks associated with the AP associate is Invoice Processing, Payments, T&E, Month end reporting and Helpdesk.
Responsibilities
. Execute transactional Accounts Payable activities, including tasks such as processing invoices, managing payments, and handling Travel & Expense (T&E)
. Oversee the daily operations of the AP department, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
. Assume a proactive role in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and submit them for quarterly client approval.
. Provide training and mentorship to junior members of the AP team.
. Take a lead role in month-end and year-end closing activities.
. Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts.
. Respond to audit inquiries and provide necessary documentation.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
. Graduate in Commerce
. Previous experience in Accounts Payable (Invoice Processing, Payments Processing, T&E booking)
. Strong English language skills (verbal and written)
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
. Preferred Proficiency in accounting software (SAP)
. Strong Excel skills and experience with financial analysis.
