Position Overview:
The MIS Coordinator will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the organization's management information systems, with a particular emphasis on leveraging advanced Excel skills to improve data management, analysis, and reporting. This role involves coordinating IT activities, managing databases, ensuring data integrity, and providing technical support. The MIS Coordinator will work closely with various departments to understand their IT needs and develop Excel-based solutions to enhance workflow and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the organization's MIS.
- Ensure the integrity, security, and performance of MIS and associated databases.
- Manage system upgrades, updates, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to users across various departments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MIS, hardware, and software.
- Develop and maintain user manuals and training materials.
- Excel Expertise:
- Develop and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets for data analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros, and data visualization tools to streamline processes.
- Train staff on advanced Excel techniques and best practices to enhance productivity.
- Data Management:
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security within the MIS.
- Conduct regular data audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Design and generate reports to meet the information needs of management and stakeholders.
- Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to identify MIS needs and develop solutions.

Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MIS or a similar role.
- Extensive experience with advanced Excel functions and data analysis.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros, and data visualization tools.
