Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our beverage manufacturing plant in Harihar, Davangere. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in the job market context of India, with a strong background in maintenance management in the beverage industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure maximum uptime and equipment reliability
- Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
- Coordinate with production and quality control teams to ensure maintenance activities are aligned with production schedules
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and reduce repair costs
- Manage maintenance budget and ensure all expenses are within budgetary constraints
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with equipment suppliers and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective repair and maintenance services
- Provide regular reports to senior management on maintenance performance and activities
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field
- 6-16 years of experience in maintenance management in the beverage industry
- Strong knowledge of beverage manufacturing equipment, including bottling lines, mixers, and conveyors
- Proven experience in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software
