The Maintenance Manager is responsible for developing and implementing maintenance procedures, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing budgets to optimize resource allocation. he should be from Transformer Industry
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance team, ensuring efficient operations and high performance.
- Develop and manage a structured preventive maintenance program.
- Perform regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize disruption to daily operations.
- all type of maintenance work of Crane, Oven etc
- Manage maintenance budgets and control expenses effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Lead training sessions for maintenance staff on equipment use and safety protocols.
- Implement and monitor performance metrics for maintenance activities.
- Establish relationships with vendors and suppliers for maintenance supplies and services.
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Stay current with industry best practices and maintenance technologies.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve overall facility operations.
- Provide reports to senior management on maintenance activities and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years Working experience from Transformer industry
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with budget management and cost control.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CMMS, Six Sigma) are a plus.
