We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframes IMS professional with 4-8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IMS and its associated technologies and will be able to work collaboratively with our team of developers and IT professionals.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain IMS applications
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IMS-related issues
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure IMS applications meet business requirements
- Document and maintain technical specifications and procedures for IMS applications
- Participate in the testing and implementation of new IMS applications and updates
- Monitor and optimize IMS performance
- Stay up-to-date with new IMS technologies and trends
Skills and Qualifications
- 4-8 years of experience in Mainframes IMS
- Strong understanding of IMS and its associated technologies
- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and REXX
- Experience with DB2 and CICS
- Knowledge of z/OS and TSO/ISPF
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Excellent communication skills
