Mainframe System Operational Analyst - 24/7 Rotational Shifts

About The Team
Team involves in Monitoring job flows ensuring established SLAs are met and Break/Fix 80% of job failures are resolved within the Command Center. Involves in Weekly IPLs and other related maintenance activities
What You Will Be Doing
- Performs monitoring and operational management functions for associated hardware and software within 24x7 processing environment
- Maintains peak performance at full capacity for all systems
- Follows new/improved work procedures where appropriate, tests and implements program and/or systems changes, responds to processing problems and exercises sound judgment to make client impacting processing adjustments
- Recognizes abnormal processing conditions and makes appropriate response decisions
- Will be working in 24/7 Rotational Shifts
What You Bring
- 7 to 10 years of Experience in Mainframe operations
- Good experience in Control M scheduling tools and Expertise in handling IPL and DR activities
- Proficient in handling CICS, IMS, MQ, DB2 related alerts
- Expertise in working with Netview, Omegaview, BMC Mainview & other console and Batch monitoring tools
Added Bonus If You Have
- Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development
- Knowledge of FIS products and services
- Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization
