Mainframe DevOps

Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Mainframe DevOps to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in a similar role within the job market context of India.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications and infrastructure using DevOps principles and practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes using tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mainframe applications and infrastructure.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of mainframe applications and infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and other team meetings as required.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in mainframe DevOps and apply them to improve processes and practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in mainframe development and DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of mainframe programming languages such as COBOL, JCL, and Assembler.
• Experience with mainframe tools and technologies such as CICS, DB2, and IMS.
• Expertise in DevOps principles and practices, including automation, continuous integration and delivery, and infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
