Role And Responsibilities
Support the operations of the Mainframe CICS infrastructure
Responsible for carrying out BAU tasks for application owners. These include CICS resource definitions online(terminals, programs, bundles etc.), defining new CICS regions etc.
Good knowledge on monitoring and administrative tools like Sysview or any other equivalent for support.
Experience in upgrade of CICS TS from lower version to higher version. Knowledge on CICS Transaction Gateway and CICS webservices and CICSplex Operations
Experience in vendor product install / upgrade and applying PTF for maintenance.
Support and document DR processes.
CICS SSL Setup Troubleshooting
Experience in CICS Monitoring Tools - CA SYSVIEW / Omegamon / Mainview etc
