Role Description

As the Magento Practice Manager/Head, you are responsible for leading and managing the practice focused on Magento, which is a popular e-commerce platform.

Your role encompasses a range of strategic, operational, and technical responsibilities to ensure the success and growth of Magento-based projects and solutions.

Job Details

  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the Magento practice, aligning it with the overall business objectives and market trends.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth, market expansion, and service offerings related to Magento e-commerce solutions.
  • Define go-to-market strategies, target client segments, and competitive positioning for Magento-based projects and services.
  • Recruit, onboard, and lead a team of Magento developers, architects, designers, and consultants.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Allocate resources effectively, manage workloads, and ensure skill development and training for team members.
  • Engage with clients to understand their e-commerce requirements, business objectives, and challenges that can be addressed using Magento solutions.
  • Lead client meetings, workshops, and presentations to showcase Magento capabilities, propose solutions, and build strong client relationships.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by delivering quality services, meeting project deadlines, and exceeding client expectations.
  • Oversee the delivery and execution of Magento projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Work closely with project managers, technical leads, and cross-functional teams to define project scopes, timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments, features, and best practices in Magento e-commerce development, customization, and integration.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to the Magento development team, helping them solve complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Establish and enforce coding standards, architecture guidelines, and development methodologies to maintain consistency and quality across Magento projects.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments for Magento services, solutions, and consulting engagements.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and business development teams to create compelling proposals, pricing models, and value propositions for Magento projects.
  • Participate in client pitches, industry events, and networking activities to promote the Magento practice, expand the client base, and generate revenue.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the performance, growth, and profitability of the Magento practice.
  • Analyze project performance data, track progress against targets, and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
  • Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management to communicate the achievements, challenges, and future plans of the Magento practice.
