Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and talented Machine Learning Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will work closely with the Founders and our engineering teams to develop and implement machine-learning models that drive impactful business solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and fine-tuning of machine learning models.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design, implement, and test new algorithms.
- Perform data preprocessing and analysis to support model development.
- Implement and optimize machine learning pipelines.
- Conduct literature reviews to stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in machine learning and AI.
- Assist in the deployment and monitoring of machine learning models in a production environment.
- Document processes and results, and present findings to the team.
Your Profile
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Some startup operator experience in ML is preferred.
- Enthusiasm about technology trends and digital business models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility and a hands-on mentality are a strong plus.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Availability to work full-time for a duration of six (6) months.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
