You will be working as LSU Operation Manager and will be part of Process Automation business Area for Measurement & Analytics division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Marketing Manager Solutions and will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the local sales unit (LSU) analytical, encompassing the full scope of operations, including project management, control, project engineering, manufacturing, production engineering, procurement, quality, continuous improvement, logistics, planning and fulfillment. Ensuring strict adherence within the Operations with respect to policies and required health, safety and integrity standards.
Your responsibilities
- Preparing annual budget, overseeing progress and determining measures to address cost-related issues as necessary, to manage operations within the allocated budget and resources
- Developing programs, projects, goals and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations
- Ensuring that the organization takes into account an overall value chain perspective to meet customer expectations as per agreed quality, service levels and lead time
- Ensuring a thorough understanding and fosters a culture of continuous improvement behaviors, methodology and processes within the organization
- Providing support to sales staff to improve their understanding of customer requirements, enabling them to identify potential constraints and proposing solutions from an operational point of view
- Maintaining compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations while monitoring and reporting progress and results.
- Reviewing organizational effectiveness and performs competence assessments and continuous skill upgrades
Your background
- Diploma or B E in Electrical, Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Operations Management in Analytical, (project management and control, project engineering, manufacturing, production engineering, procurement, quality, continuous improvement, logistics, planning and fulfillment) and Team Management of 5 to 7 members
- Experience on end-to-end operations management, project management, engineering, manufacturing processes, inventory management and control
- Knowledge on supplier relationship management, governance, resource management and capacity planning
