ScrapUncle is an App/Website where users can schedule a doorstep pickup for their Junk items like Paper, Metals, Plastics, Electronic Waste, etc., and get paid for the same.

Responsibilities:

Given that we operate in reverse logistics, there's a considerable risk of leakage and loss, particularly in last-mile operations. We depend on our junk collectors declarations of collected items, which creates opportunities for unethical practices such as manipulating weight measurements or misidentifying materials to deceive households.

• Invoice & Receiving Comparison: Oversee the collection invoices for each pickup truck and compare them with the materials received at the warehouse.
• Inventory Management: Conduct periodic physical inventory checks to ensure the warehouse inventory matches the software records.
• Security Processes: Plan, source, and execute security processes and procedures for last-mile operations.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks related to shrinkage.
• Investigations: Investigate potential theft or pilferage, collaborating closely with relevant stakeholders and law enforcement agencies.
• Resource Utilization: Ensure optimal utilization of resources to provide timely support to the business.
• Crisis Management: Independently handle emergency or crisis situations through effective coordination and communication.
