Fur Ball Story is a pet healthcare company based in Gurugram. Our mission is to assist pet parents in fulfilling all their requirements through our innovative range of products and services. With a strong online community and a diverse range of pet-centric solutions, we strive to handhold pet parents throughout their journey. Our products include Ayurvedic Pet Health Medicines & Supplements, Dog Boarding, Pet Therapy, Pet Friendly Caf, Dog Training, and events promoting #AyurvedaForAnimals to ensure the health and wellness of our furry friends.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning

- Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure they align with organizational goals and objectives.

- Identify opportunities for improving efficiency, reducing costs, and optimizing logistics processes.

2. Operations Management

- Oversee daily logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

- Monitor logistics performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.

- Ensure compliance with regulations and laws governing transportation and logistics activities.

3. Vendor & Supplier Management

- Negotiate and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers.

- Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements or changes as necessary.

4. Budgeting & Cost Control

- Develop and manage logistics budgets, forecasting expenses, and variances.

Implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies without compromising quality or service delivery.

5. Risk Management

- Identify potential risks in logistics operations and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.

- Ensure compliance with safety and security standards in logistics activities.

Communication and Collaboration:

6. Communication & Collaboration

- Coordinate logistics activities with other departments such as procurement, sales, and customer service to ensure seamless operations.

- Lead and manage a team of logistics personnel, including hiring, training, and performance management. Lead by example.

Experience Needed: 4+ years in logistics management, with a track record of successfully managing complex logistics operations.

Skills Needed -

1. Proficiency in logistics software and systems

2. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and logistics best practices.

3. Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on attention to detail.

5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

6. Negotiation and vendor management skills.

7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
