Job Summary:
Candidate Logistics Last Mile Operations is responsible for overseeing the last mile delivery processes for our e-commerce platform. This role focuses on optimizing delivery routes, managing relationships with third-party logistics providers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to customers, and enhancing overall customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience in managing large-scale e-commerce delivery operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Last Mile Delivery Management:
Oversee and manage all aspects of last mile delivery operations, ensuring efficient, timely, and cost-effective delivery services.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery routes, reduce delivery times, and minimize costs.
Monitor delivery performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance service levels.
Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
Evaluate and select logistics partners to ensure high-quality service at competitive rates.
Customer Experience:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining delivery accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve delivery issues and improve the overall delivery experience.
Process Improvement:
Identify inefficiencies in the last mile delivery process and develop solutions to streamline operations.
Implement best practices in logistics and supply chain management to enhance operational efficiency.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or last mile delivery operations, preferably in the e-commerce sector.
Proven experience in managing third-party logistics providers and optimizing delivery processes.
