- Developing and implementing logistics strategies to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods
- Coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure that goods are delivered on time and in accordance with quality standards
- Monitoring and analyzing logistics data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to optimize the supply chain
- Managing the budget for logistics operations and ensuring that expenses are controlled and in line with the organization's financial goals
- Conducting regular evaluations of carriers and suppliers to ensure that they are meeting performance standards
- Maintaining accurate records of goods in transit and ensuring that all shipments are properly tracked and recorded
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and carriers to ensure that they are meeting the needs of the organization
- Should have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Graduate with minimum 4-6 years of experience in handling logistics and imports.
- Should be well-versed with import/export rules & regulations, air/sea shipments, documentations and various payment terms.
