We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics person to join our team in India.
Key Responsibilities
- Imports and customs handling
- Oversee all imports and customs handling, ensuring compliance with related procedures and regulations. Includes also contacts with related forwarders and transporters as needed.
- Monitoring deliveries and order planning
- Monitor deliveries and orders in production in order to secure delivery from a supplier and to customers following confirmed delivery dates.
- Customer and sales support
- Maintain contact and information to customers as needed related to planned deliveries and orders. Support our sales teams with any logistical issues needed information.
- Distribution and warehouse management
- Handling of incoming and outgoing deliveries to PCB Connect Warehouse/ 3PL warehouse.
- Logistics and transport-related contracts
- Together with MD negotiate and arrange needed logistics and transporter contracts and solutions to secure the related operation for warehouse and deliveries.
Competencies and Abilities
- Service-minded approach and strong communication skills, both towards external parties as well as internal.
- In-depth understanding and experience in the logistics and transport market, financial transactions and delivery terms.
- In-depth understanding and experience related to import procedures and regulations.
- Active interest in overall company activities and success to guide the logistics activities in line with company targets.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing demands, as well as effective stress management and ability to perform under pressure.
- Keen attention to accuracy and meeting agreed deadlines.
- Expertise in building frameworks for efficient processes, routines and structures

A note on our recruitment process:
We want it to be relatively quick, so HR is screening applicants every other day and will notify the Swedish MD of suitable applicants. The Swedish MD / HR will then do a phone interview usually within a few days. If the applicant is successful at the phone interview it will be followed up by a video interview with the Swedish MD, CEO and perhaps HR again usually within a few days subject to getting everyone's availability. If it's all good then a conditional offer subject to references will be sent out to the candidate.
