Join our team as a Logistics and Suppliers Coordinator in Visakhapatnam.
This onsite role involves assisting the logistics coordinator in managing logistics operations, including import, export, and domestic and international shipments. The position requires continuous supplier communication to ensure an efficient supply chain management process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shipment Management and Tracking: Oversee the operation, coordination, and tracking of shipments from order issuance to product arrival, including import, export, and international shipments.
- Direct Supplier Interaction: Regularly engage with customers and suppliers to understand their needs, ensure a smooth logistics process, and maintain solid relationships.
- Supplier Interaction: Continuously interact with shipping companies, obtain price quotes, negotiate the best prices, and approve invoices.
- Import and Export Oversight: Manage import and export processes, handle import licenses, ensure compliance, and secure import permits from government ministries and agencies.
Requirements:
- Education: A bachelor's degree is required, with an advantage for Logistics or Industrial Engineering and Management graduates.
- Experience:
- 1-4 years of warehouse management experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of the tax regulations and practices in India.
- Understanding and experience with INCOTERMS is an advantage.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at a basic level is required.
- Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken.
