Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our logistics operations, including inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and distribution. The ideal candidate will have 2-10 years of relevant experience in the Indian job market.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and plans to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Oversee inventory management and control, including forecasting, ordering, and tracking
- Manage transportation and distribution operations, including route planning and scheduling, carrier selection, and freight negotiations
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals to deliver high-quality services
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all logistics activities
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 2-10 years of experience in logistics management in the Indian job market
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards
- Experience with logistics software and systems, such as warehouse management systems and transportation management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
