Job ResponsibilitiesThe Lodge Manager is responsible for overall operations of the lodge and ensure able leadership, maintains lodge facilities and delivers a high level of Wildlife hospitality by meeting the company's standards and exceeding guest expectations.
The Lodge Manager reports to the Director of Operations and takes a leading role in operations while working closely with the rest of the managing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and Forecast Lodge overall revenue from various segments.
- Strategy formulation for the lodge, in order to achieve a greater market share.
- Maintaining smooth lodge operations and ensure the guest satisfaction.
- Creating a personalized guest experience and paying attention to details.
- Managing budget and operational cost.
- Create a work environment that is high in employee morale and provides constant learning & development
- Develop systems and procedures that achieve higher cost efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Collaborating with lodge department heads to achieve goals and objectives of the lodge
- Overseeing daily operation of the business
- Establishing a safety first culture
- Prepare appropriate forecasting tools and strategies to visualize market scenario and develop long range plans.
- Be informed about the trends in wildlife hospitality, changing customer needs and behavior, and developments in other industries.
- To perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position
- To maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate
