Job Description

The Lobby Hostess will be the first point of contact for customers visiting the car dealership. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming environment, assist with initial inquiries, and ensure a positive customer experience. The Lobby Hostess will also support the sales team by managing the front desk, coordinating appointments, and performing administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Greeting and Welcoming:

  • Warmly greet all customers upon arrival.
  • Provide a friendly and professional first impression of the dealership.

2. Customer Assistance:

  • Direct customers to the appropriate department or personnel.
  • Answer basic inquiries about the dealership, its services, and vehicle inventory.
  • Offer refreshments and ensure customers are comfortable while waiting.

3. Appointment Coordination:

  • Schedule and confirm customer appointments.
  • Notify sales representatives of customer arrivals.

4. Administrative Support:

  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Keep track of customer visit logs and appointment schedules.

5. Sales Support:

  • Provide information about current promotions and special offers.
  • Assist with the distribution of marketing materials and brochures.
  • Ensure the lobby area is stocked with up-to-date promotional materials.

6. Customer Experience:

  • Collect feedback from customers about their visit experience.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns or escalate them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Foster a welcoming and professional environment at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent / Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
