Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Live Sound Engineer at Best.com sounds located in Mumbai. As a Live Sound Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up and operating sound equipment for live events such as concerts, festivals, and conferences. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting sound checks, mixing and balancing audio, and troubleshooting equipment issues to ensure high-quality sound production during live performances. You will collaborate with artists, performers, and event organizers to meet their sound requirements and provide an optimal audio experience for the audience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Live Sound Engineer in live event settings
- Proficiency in operating sound equipment such as mixing consoles, microphones, amplifiers, and speakers
- Knowledge of acoustics, audio signal flow, and sound reinforcement principles
- Strong technical skills to handle audio playback and recording software
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing sound requirements during live events
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with artists, performers, and event organizers
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot sound equipment issues
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
