- Job Responsibilities
- Handle General Litigation and Corporate Litigation matters.
- Attend to all litigation matters including Court matters independently and without supervision.
- Drafting pleadings, cause papers, and submissions including any correspondences.
- To handle and manage own files from the start.
- Preparing legal opinion and conducting research on all legal and related matters.
- Preparing status reports and updates for superiors and clients on weekly basis.
- To attend to clients and other work assigned by the firm from time to time.
- Able to work long hours if and when necessary or required on case to case basis.
- Provide suggestions and ideas in handling cases and engaging in a pro-active in discussions.
- Qualifications and Requirements
- Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Law with qualified practicing certificates or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in civil litigation and/or corporate litigation matters is required for this position. (exclude experience in Chambering and Pupilage).
- Possess the experiences handling matters and trials in High Courts and other higher courts.
- Good communication and writing skills both in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Having the experience in managing own files from the start.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Able to work with minimum supervision, a team player, responsible, reliable, committed, and with a good and positive working attitude.
- Multilingual is an advantage.
- Salary range between RM3,000 to RM7,000 (depending on years of experience and knowledge).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
Schedule: - Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kota Damansara: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
