Linux System Administrator with OpenShift

About the role:

You will play a play a crucial role in server management: Install, configure, and maintain servers, including physical and virtual environments (Windows, Linux, (VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, Openshift)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain database systems, including relational and NoSQL databases.
2. Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies.
3. Monitor database performance and identify areas for optimization.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
5. Collaborate with development teams to ensure database integration and performance.
6. Implement and maintain database security measures.

Technology skills:

Linux, Openshift & Kubernetes, Windows

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

1. Proven experience in server management: Install, configure, and maintain servers, including physical and virtual environments (Windows, Linux, (VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, Openshift)

2. Proven experience in network management: Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, configure firewalls, and implement security measures.

3. Proven experience in system security: Implement and maintain security policies and procedures, monitor for vulnerabilities, and respond to security incidents.

4. Proven experience in user support: Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
