Job Description:
We are looking for a Linux Developer with expertise in system programming, device-level Linux programming, and Linux administration. This role will also require experience in DevOps tools and processes. If you enjoy working with embedded devices, handling Linux server installations, and optimizing system performance, this is the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize system-level software for Linux-based devices.
- Work with device drivers, kernel modules, and low-level system components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve device-level issues on Linux.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
- Work on embedded systems and IoT platforms to deliver high-performance solutions.
- Install and configure Linux-based servers (CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian) for various projects, including the OKAS application.
- Provide remote support for Linux-based systems and installations on multiple sites.
- Perform DevOps tasks using tools like Jenkins and Git, ensuring smooth build, release, and deployment processes.
- Conduct performance tuning, system diagnostics, memory management, and system monitoring.
- Handle technical escalations and provide excellent customer support, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Prepare Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for team members.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Linux programming, including system programming and device-level development.
- Experience with Linux kernel development, device drivers, and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and experience with build and release processes.
- Proficiency in networking, storage, database management, monitoring, and backup systems.
- RHCSA Certification or equivalent Linux administration skills.
- Strong knowledge of system calls, process management, and low-level system architecture.
- Passion for working with devices and optimizing hardware-software interactions.
- Problem-solving mindset with excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in IoT and smart home technologies is a plus.
