Lighting Designer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lighting Designer. The Lighting Designer will be responsible for designing and implementing lighting solutions both interior and exterior architectural design including residential, commercial, and sporting events.

• A strong understanding of Lighting Design is required
• Proficiency in Lighting Control
• Should have experience in Dialux, AGi32, or other lighting design-related software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• 1-2 years of experience in lighting design and related fields is preferred
• Designing lighting plans: light fixture layouts, lighting calculations, photometric lighting analysis, and lighting controls.
• Works with the design team to select appropriate light fixtures, fitting project budget, performance, and aesthetics.
• AUTOCAD or equivalent application skills (to be able to read, edit, and create layout plans)
• Experience in designing lighting for

- Commercial Office Buildings

- Commercial / Retail shopping centers

- Medium to large warehouses

- Car Parks (undercover and open)

- Specific design- Hospitals, Schools, etc.,

- Public areas and amenities

- Sports Fields (Open grounds and closed areas)

• Ability to take initiative and work independently
