Role Description

StudioEVM is seeking a Lighting Designer based in South Delhi, with flexibility for some remote work. As Lighting Designer I, you will work closely with the design team to assist in the creation of lighting designs for architectural projects. This is a full-time, hybrid role that requires you to be located in South Delhi.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the Principal Lighting Designer to develop and execute lighting concepts
• Assisting in the preparation of compelling presentations showcasing lighting design concepts
• Proficiently creating AutoCAD drawings and 3D models using REVIT and SketchUp to visualise lighting schemes
• Curating information and data from physical and online resources to contribute to our extensive lighting database
• Playing a key role in the development and maintenance of studio standards for design and documentation
• Compiling information on architects, interior designers, MEP firms, and lighting manufacturers to support design development efforts
• Conducting research on topics related to the role and impact of lighting on human experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, REVIT, SketchUp and lighting calculation software such as AGi32 or Dialux
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Understanding of lighting principles, fixtures, and controls
• Experience in creating lighting simulations, renderings, and lighting layouts
