Responsibilities

• Assist in the management and organization of library materials
• Help patrons locate materials and answer basic reference questions
• Process new materials and assist with cataloging and classification
• Assist with library programming and outreach activities
• Maintain library equipment and troubleshoot issues
• Assist with collection development and management
• Provide support for library events and meetings

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
• 5-9 years of experience in a library or related field
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Familiarity with library cataloging and classification systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
